Cottage Grove traveling basketball is intended as an opportunity for players looking to compete at the highest level of basketball. We offer teams at A, B and C levels (depending on numbers) to help maximize the benefit of each player. If you have questions, please contact one of our traveling directors.
Traveling basketball players are required to tryout. Each grade will have two separate tryout sessions. Session one will primarily consist of skill analysis and individual fundamental training. Session two will primarily consist of 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 scrimmages. It is very important that all athletes make plans to attend both sessions. At tryout registration, each player will get a numbered pinnie, which will help the independent evaluators identify each player. The evaluators will not know the names of the players. The evaluators will give the players a score, which we will use to help rank all players and select teams.
